Does Carla Jewels have a mailing list and how do I sign up? Carla Jewels does have a mailing list. We send periodic e-mails offering specials and letting you know when there are new pieces on our web site. Please go to our Contact Us page to sign up.
What is Carla Jewels shipping policy? Carla Jewels offers free, insured shipping on all purchases of $100.00 or more to domestic addresses. On purchases of less than $100.00, insured shipping is just $5.00. Carla Jewels normally ships via United States Postal Service.
How do I place an order with Carla Jewels? Carla Jewels accepts orders via e-mail at carla@carlajewels.com. You may also order by telephone at 904-635-0101.
How are Carla Jewels bracelets and necklaces sized? Carla Jewels sizes bracelets at nominally eight (8) inches toggle to clasp. Should you need your bracelet sized differently, we will gladly resize it up to one (1) additional inch at no extra charge. Most necklaces are finished with a length of sterling silver chain which allows for varying amounts of drop as you choose. The few that are not finished so as to be adjustable are nominally sixteen (16) inches from clasp to standing ring. What is Carla Jewels normal shipping/delivery time? Orders are shipped within two (2) business days on in-stock items. Delivery on custom orders will be quoted at the time of order placement.
How do I know if my order has been received by Carla Jewels? Carla Jewels will send a confirmation to the e-mail address that you provide when your order is received. If you have any questions regarding order status after that time, please submit inquiries to carla@carlajewels.com.
How do I know when my order has been shipped by Carla Jewels? Carla Jewels will send a confirmation e-mail to you when your order is shipped. This e-mail will contain your USPS tracking number, allowing you to track your package while it is enroute to you.
Does Carla Jewels do custom design? Carla is available to design and create custom pieces. Please contact carla@carlajewels.com with your questions, ideas, specifications, or simply to discuss the possibilities.
How do I care for my Carla Jewels jewelry? Each piece Carla Jewels offers is a one-of-a-kind design. Generally, most Carla Jewels pieces contain Swarovski crystal, sterling silver findings, highest quality wire, and lampwork beads from many different lampwork artists. Carla Jewels designs do not require any extraordinary care, but we do suggest several steps be taken. All silver will tarnish, so we recommend storing your Carla Jewels piece in a tarnish resistant jewelry box. If you do not have one, a reasonably airtight Ziploc type bag will do nicely. Periodic polishing with a sliver cleaning cloth will restore the luster to the silver parts. The beads themselves require no special care other than a periodic wiping with a clean, soft cloth. We do recommend you avoid submersing your jewelry in water.
What are lampwork beads? Lampwork beads are glass beads which are individually hand-made using a torch that is specially designed for working with glass. Each bead is a unique design and has its own personality. Carla Jewels uses lampwork beads only from artists who properly anneal the beads which makes for an extremely durable glass bead.
What are Swarovski crystals? Carla Jewels crystal beads are exclusively from Swarovski. Swarovski crystal is a manufactured crystal, and is the finest such crystal in the world. The crystals are fired using a combination of natural minerals and quartz sand and then slowly cooled in a process that renders the finest examples of crystals obtainable.
What forms of payment does Carla Jewels accept? Carla Jewels accepts many forms of payment, including personal checks, cashiers checks, money orders, and all major credit cards. Credit card transactions are completed through Pay Pal. Carla Jewels will send an electronic invoice to the e-mail address which you provide us upon receipt of your order. Refunds will be processed via the method of payment you used for your purchase.
What is Carla Jewels privacy policy? Carla Jewels collects only the information necessary to process your orders and provide appropriate customer service. Carla Jewels does not sell, rent, or otherwise share your information with any other firm for any reason. In addition, Carla Jewels insures that reasonable and appropriate safeguards protect the information that you have provided to us.
